Artificial Intelligence unlocks the construction of the Robots Factory, and each subsequent level increases its production by +12%. It requires some levels in Electronics and is a prerequisite for Halean Technology. Note that the production bonus is independent from Halean Technology. Its starting research point cost is 50.00M and its cost multiplier is x2.20. For technology points, its starting cost is 10.00 and its cost multiplier is x1.20.
This technology is largely considered to be useless at low levels, as Robots Factories require valuable nanotubes and coolants to run, whereas Halean A.I. Centers do not. Additionally, it has the same production bonus per level as Halean Technology. However, upon reset, its much lower TP cost and cost multiplier makes it very easy for Robots Factories to vastly outperform Halean A.I. Centers if enough TP levels are invested. To compare, 10 TP levels of Artificial Intelligence requires 259.59 TP total, while that many TP can afford only the first two levels of Halean Technology. TP level 10 of the latter costs 5.76K alone.
